PulseDev is a local AI coding companion designed to let developers quickly address UI issues directly on their own running sites. By pointing and clicking on any problematic element in a web app, users can describe what’s wrong, prompting the tool’s integration with code-focused AI models such as Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, or OpenCode to suggest and make code fixes in the actual project files. Importantly, no changes are made until the developer approves a clear code diff, ensuring control and preventing unwanted edits.

Installation runs entirely on the user’s machine, with no code or data sent to PulseDev’s servers. This provides privacy and compatibility with existing paid AI coding agents, making it simple to add to any developer’s workflow. The interface is interactive and visual—you navigate your local site, click, describe, and can preview code edits before approving them for merge. This speeds up bug triage, reduces friction compared to creating tickets or slack screenshots, and directly links visual issues to code solutions.

PulseDev supports multiple frameworks, including Vue, React, and plain HTML, making it suitable for a wide range of web developers.
